Lance and I had another horse show a week ago. I can't even believe how different he is now from 12 years ago. He acted like an old pro at the show grounds, and was very relaxed. On our test pages he even got a "handsome horse" comment. For Lance that's the most important thing, he's quite vain! He even got drug tested which was kind of funny. I'm so proud of him, I can't say it enough, he's just been wonderful, and I never would have imagined back then that I would have ever ridden him at a show ever because of how high spirited and difficult he is. It makes the journey so much better going through all those ups and downs. It makes me believe that you just can't give up. Ever! Time to get back to painting!

very nice pastel, and congrads on lance's and your achievements! i really like the direction your going in with your plien air stuff. I'm always envious of how confident you are with colour.
Thanks for the lovely comments! Kelly, you know that I'm not confident with anything :) It's all guesswork!
