These are a bunch of pieces of concept work for my film Geirald; the five-legged spider. The first bunch are story beats, and there is also an old concept of Geirald, as well as a watercolour painting with some digital elements.
Geirald is a spider that has difficulty being graceful living with only 5 legs.
A female spider named Portia catches his eye one day, and he aspires to be with her, but an angry spider named Staunch quickly squashes Geirald's goals. In the end Staunch wins over the heart of Portia, and Geirald is heartbroken. A miraculous occurance happens, and Geirald is able to spin brilliant webs.

I used to have Arachnephobia (fear of spiders, apparently) cuz I was bitten by one when I was like 3 or so. I'm not scared of these, so I think you're good :) haha. Really nice work, I think everyone was a little blown away by your concept pieces.
When I was looking up the word arachnephobia I stumbled upon this site, check it out, some of the phobias are hilarious... fear of asymmetrical shapes???
Very nice. i really like them all. its a interesting take on the underdog type of character.. spiders normally have 8 legs and you took 3 away... I really hope I get to see your film someday. if its anything like the concept work it will be aweseom

Hi Sam, I pass your display on the way to my desk everyday, I think it was one of the first ones up, I still stop and stare at it, the colours and style really are adorable!
