These are a bunch of pieces of concept work for my film Geirald; the five-legged spider. The first bunch are story beats, and there is also an old concept of Geirald, as well as a watercolour painting with some digital elements.
Geirald is a spider that has difficulty being graceful living with only 5 legs.
A female spider named Portia catches his eye one day, and he aspires to be with her, but an angry spider named Staunch quickly squashes Geirald's goals. In the end Staunch wins over the heart of Portia, and Geirald is heartbroken. A miraculous occurance happens, and Geirald is able to spin brilliant webs.
